On December 23, 2008, the French Defense Procurement Agency (DGA) placed an order with NHIndustries for 22 additional NH90s in the TTH(1) version. This new contract increases to 34 the total number of NH90s in the TTH version that will be delivered to the French Army from 2011 onwards. The DGA ordered 12 aircraft back in November 2007.
