The traumatology simulation center at Munich University Hospital is the most modern of its kind in Europe. Now it has an added new dimension in the form of a BK117 airframe specially fitted out by Eurocopter with medical equipment. The BK117 will be used to show medical staff how to transport the sick and injured by helicopter. Every type of accident situation is fully recreated at the center’s 300 m2 facilities: First-aid care at the scene of the accident, transportation of injured people and their admittance to intensive care units
