On 29 February 2008, Falcon Aviation Services
(FAS) took delivery in Marignane of its first
AS365 N3 Dauphin in the VIP version. Under the
terms of the contract, a second aircraft will be
delivered at the end of the year. These helicopters
can carry seven people in VIP configuration and will
be used to transport passengers between Abu
Dhabi, Dubai and the other countries of the Gulf
Cooperation Council (GCC)(1). These helicopters
have been purchased as part of the operator’s
programme to extend its fleet. FAS currently
operates two EC130 B4s and is scheduled
to receive another of these aircraft in mid-2008.
