On 22 January 2008, Eurocopter president Dr. Lutz Bertling presented the Eurocopter results for 2007 to more than 50 journalists from the international press in Paris.

In 2007, Eurocopter took a record number of orders for 802 aircraft (615 in 2006), worth a total of €6.6 billion, up 35% on 2006. The turnover for 2007 exceeded €4 billion for the first time (€4.17 billion) – up 10% on the previous year (€3.8 billion). This included the delivery of 488 aircraft (381 in 2006) including 18 Tigers and NH90s. These excellent results confirm Eurocopter’s good position and the health of the helicopter market, which is enjoying unprecedented growth.
