The West Coast Regional Support Facility is the first in a planned network of regional support centres for the Southeast, Northeast and Gulf of Mexico regions of the United States.

American Eurocopter, the American subsidiary of the Eurocopter Group, celebrated the grand opening of the West Coast Regional Support Facility in Long Beach, California on November 15, 2007. The new facility is located at the Long Beach Airport in the Daugherty Skyharbor Complex.
The opening of the West Coast Regional Support Facility is part of Eurocopter’s overall plan to bring maintenance and repair services closer to its customers and to improve customer support. One of the reasons Long Beach was chosen is its proximity to American Eurocopter’s extensive customer base on the West Coast. Currently, there are more than 200 Eurocopter aircraft in the VIP, corporate, air medical and law enforcement markets on the West Coast. The West Coast Regional Support Facility will provide maintenance and repair service and house a significant inventory of spare parts, including dynamic components available for sale and/or exchange. This large inventory will allow faster turnaround times for customers who need expedited parts or service. A trained staff of technicians will be on hand to provide inspections, as well as to provide off–site support for customers, if needed. Training programs for pilots and mechanics will also be available. This facility is just the first in a network of regional support centers. Additional facilities are being planned for several other regions around the nation including the Southeast, Northeast, and Gulf of Mexico regions. More information will be available as the plans are finalized.
