The event organised by Eurocopter at the Château de Chantilly on the occasion of its 15th anniversary was a great success.

Eurocopter sold 114 helicopters during this year’s Paris Air Show, which took place from 18 to 24 June. The NH90 was particularly successful, with 42 aircraft ordered by the German government in the TTH(1) version and 8 by Belgium (4 in the TTH version and 4 in the NFH(2) version) plus two options. As for civil contracts, Eurocopter was no less successful, with 64 helicopters sold across its entire range. This raised the total value of contracts signed during the show to 1.2 billion euros. Eurocopter also took advantage of the Paris gathering to celebrate its 15th anniversary with some 800 customers from all around the globe. A huge party attended by Eurocopter President and CEO Lutz Bertling was held to celebrate the occasion at the Château de Chantilly, not far from the French capital. During the event, the Spanish air force’s aerobatic team ‘Patrulla Aspa’ impressed the watching visitors with a superb flight demonstration featuring its five EC120 B Colibris. After a magnificent equestrian display followed by fireworks, the evening reached its climax with the presentation of a life-size mock-up of the EC175, Eurocopter’s new medium-weight civil helicopter.
