Pegaso operates one of the biggest Eurocopter fleets in Latin America
and, over the next few months, the company will receive four additional
EC145s.
For its oil missions in the Gulf of Mexico, Pegaso has a
very diverse fleet of Eurocopter helicopters, consisting
of two EC145s, three EC135s, an AS350 Ecureuil,
seven BK117s, an EC130, and a BO105.
And the trust
Pegaso places in Eurocopter’s products has
prompted the company to go even further: “We will be
getting two new EC145s this October and, during Heli
Expo 2007, we signed a contract for two more of
these helicopters, which will be delivered to us next
year,” explains Enrique Zepeda, the Executive Director
of Pegaso.
“The EC145 is the most versatile helicopter
currently on the market. The size of its cabin is perfect
for our missions and, what’s more, this aircraft is the
logical successor to the BK117, which we have been
operating for 10 years. We are also highly satisfied
with the EC135.”
“When we have to select a helicopter, first and
foremost we look for a completely reliable aircraft, one
on which we can rely 100% knowing that it is going
to perform its mission successfully. The Eurocopter
products fulfill all of these criteria for us,” continues
Mr. Zepeda.
“As for Eurocopter’s support, we would
like to see more from the Mexican subsidiary; we
would like them to give us optimized and constant
support.”
