Café de la Paroquia has been making coffee in Mexico for more
than 200 years. For 20 years, the company has savored the advantages
of using the helicopters of Helitafe to travel in the Mexican mountains.
Testimony of Angel E. Fernandez Ceballos,
pilot at Helitafe
“I’ve just taken delivery of my first Eurocopter helicopter:
an EC120 B Colibri. This is a very versatile aircraft,
which we will be able to use for a wide variety of
missions.
First up, the EC120 will transport people
from the company, Café de la Paroquia, in the mountains
of Veracruz, where they will inspect the coffee
beans and take samples back to the production sites.
The helicopter makes the journey in 20 minutes, while
the same journey takes almost three hours by car.
The
helicopter therefore saves us precious time.
I will also use the EC120 for EMS operations in small
Mexican towns.
For the moment, the helicopter is not
used in this sector very much, and I would like to start
to get this field of activity off the ground by gradually
introducing the helicopter to save lives.
I think the EC120 is great, especially its modernity and
low noise levels, and this aircraft suits us down to the
ground!
I plan to buy an EC130 B4 for EMS missions, but, first,
I need to make sure that the market is ready. Time will
tell!”
