“We have been Eurocopter customers for 25 years and we fly four Ecureuils/AStars: two AS350 B2s and two AS350 BAs. Since the end of March, we also have an EC120. This helicopter, which we tested on lease last year, is turning a new page for us.
The Colibri bowled us over with its high safety level – thanks to its Fenestron® – and its great external visibility. The air conditioning, the radio – good to have on long trips – and the energyabsorbing seats are all very popular features with our customers. What’s more, for me, the EC120 is a very “sexy” helicopter. All our aircraft are based in the Province of British Columbia where we transport passengers for small tourism companies.
We also have another, more original string to our bow: It is used in the area for drying cherries after a rainfall. Last year, we flew about 100 hours for this kind of mission. Lastly, our Ecureuils/AStars are also used for fire-fighting.”
