At the end of 2005, EADS launched the “Triple I” process –
Internationalization, Innovation and Improvement (of operational
performances) – which reflects the major strategic choices for group
development over the years ahead. The organizational breakdown
of the process is now clearly defined at Eurocopter.
Eurocopter’s
international deployment, which began back in the 1980s, is one of
the company’s best assets for dealing with the competition. Today
this deployment is as important as ever for the company, which
has signed two contracts that will shape its future (in China and
Korea).
As far as Innovation is concerned, the I3 process headed
by Research & Development was launched at the start of the
year, and numerous projects are already being studied.
Finally, the improvement of operational performances
is a daily quest at Eurocopter where many actions
have been implemented over the last few years to
improve customer satisfaction.
