The EC645 is the brand new military version of the successful EC145, the latest medium-sized (3.5 ton), twin-engine Eurocopter helicopter.
It is the answer to an increasing demand for a cost effective multi-role helicopter common to both military and paramilitary forces.
The modern and versatile EC645, with its large range of optional equipment, provides outstanding flexibility for all missions (from light utility to armed).

The EC645 combines Eurocopter’s latest design with proven technology including an advanced cockpit, avionics and the sophisticated electronic systems. The EC645 ensures minimum pilot workload, so that the crew can focus on the mission ahead with optimal safety. In harsh flying environment, the EC645’s inlet barrier filter will preserve its already incredible mechanical reliability and therefore provide an extension of operational deployment. Built with the future in mind, the EC645 is the sum of highly performing, sophisticated technologies offering increased mission performance and reduced crew workload.

Topped off by a proven hingeless rotor head with a monolithic titanium hub, the EC645 has enhanced rotor blades giving it maximal performance with low noise and vibration levels. The EC645 is the quietest helicopter in its class at 6.7 decibels below ICAO (annex 16 limit) noise standards.

The EC645 is equipped with two powerful and reliable Turbomeca Arriel 1E2 engines which provide outstanding performance and vital power reserves in OEI scenarios.
