Main description
Based on the proven concept of the EC635 light twin-engined helicopter, Eurocopter offers the EC635 for military and para-military operations. Designed and built to latest requirement of national and international authorities, the multimission EC635 is perfectly suited for deployment of UN peace-keeping and peace-making missions. In addition the helicopter will fulfil SAR, emergency medical evacuation, instruction and training, command and control, reconnaissance and observation, escort and fire-support and border patrol missions.
Technology
The EC635 represents a highly manoeuvrable helicopter in the 2.9 ton class.
The modern, functional and crashworthy design is based on both the latest state-of-the-art proven technologies:
- Bearingless Main Rotor system with optimized composite rotor blades,
- Latest generation, powerful, low noise Fenestron® tail rotor,
- NVG compatible “Glass cockpit”
with single or dual Avionics Management System.
