02/05/2010 : Eurocopter South East Asia (ESEA) announces first sales contract with Thailand’s Ministry of Natural Resources & Environment (MNRE) EC135 Helicopter chosen for exploration and surveillance missions - Eurocopter Southeast Asia (ESEA), subsidiary of the world’s leading helicopter manufacturer, today announced its first sales contract with Thailand’s Ministry of Natural Resources & Environment (MNRE) for one EC135 aircraft. The sale follows the establishment of Eurocopter’s first branch office in Thailand in December last year.
02/04/2010 : Eurocopter and Spanish Ministry of the Interior Sign Contract for 12 EC135s to Be Assembled in Albacete - Eurocopter and the Spanish Ministry of the Interior have signed a contract for the purchase of twelve EC135 P2i helicopters. Spain's National Police Force will operate six of the new aircraft for law enforcement missions, while the remaining six will join the current fleet of the Spanish Guardia Civil.
02/02/2010 : Eurocopter soars to greater heights in Asia - Eurocopter, the world’s leading helicopter manufacturer, today announced that in 2009, it recorded a turnover growth of 58 per cent in Asia to reach €896 million.
01/25/2010 : Eurocopter meets 2009 Turnover and Delivery Objectives - Civil Orders decrease while military Orders increase - Eurocopter, the world’s leading helicopter manufacturer, met its business and delivery objectives for 2009 and stabilised its turnover at the level of its record year, 2008. The world economic crisis caused a sharp order decline in the civil market for light helicopters. However, governmental orders have over-compensated in value the drop in commercial unit sales, leading to the second-best result of order intakes in Eurocopter’s history. In line with Eurocopter’s roadmap, the Support and Services business was also strengthened with the signature of a number of significant contracts.
01/07/2010 : Helibras will upgrade 34 Eurocopter helicopters for the Brazilian Army - Helicópteros do Brasil S.A.-Helibras, Eurocopter subsidiary in Brazil, signed on the 24th of December 2009 a contract to upgrade 34 AS365K Panther helicopters of the Brazilian Army Aviation.
