Our Identity
The Eurocopter Training Academy in Kassel is proud of its history of more than 40 years in the field of aviation training. The experience, knowledge and skills of Eurocopter, accumulated by design and development, manufacturing and maintenance operations, are perfectly reflected in the training programs that are dedicated to our customers. In the field of ab-initio training for pilots and for technicians we provide services to customers in the German Government, but also to worldwide helicopter operators, and aviation maintenance organizations.

Via the continuous development and improvement of our training content and facilities, we have been able to achieve recognized high standards. We firmly believe that comprehensive basic training is the foundation for reliability and safety in aviation.
Flight safety is Eurocopter N°1 priority.

We offer a portfolio of basic training for technicians and for pilots, including tailored course solutions taking into account customer needs.

Our technician training courses have been designed to cover a wide range of training needs. Upon our customers’ request, we are able to provide specific training solutions adapted to their unique requirements, and even to bring the support of our specialists to help defining those requirements.

The Eurocopter Training Academy is equipped to perform all certified courses dedicated to all aircraft categories (airplane, helicopter, piston and turbine engine) within a “real aircraft maintenance simulation”.

Flight Training Organization
Eurocopter operates as a JAR FCL 2 compliant Flight Training Organization (FTO) certified by the German CAA (LBA), at its Pilot Ab-Initio Training Centre at Baden-Baden, Rheinmünster Airport, Germany. Our highly experienced flight instructors are in close contact with Eurocopter test pilots and maintenance staff, in order to be constantly aware of the latest engineering developments.
Pilot Ab-Initio Training Courses
Our courses cover the full range of basic helicopter pilot training and are designed to meet our customers’ training needs. In addition, we offer support to our customers’ organization, analyzing their specific requirements and thus generating individual adapted solutions.

In addition to the basic training courses, the Eurocopter Training Academy Kassel offers specific training related to the aviation environment. The aim of these courses is to improve the individual skills of maintenance technicians and managers.
Aviation Maintenance Management Training
The technical and operational requirements in aerospace increasingly require solid management skills. In order to ensure reliability and safety within an ever more complex environment, enhanced hands-on management capabilities are required. Our training experts help our customers to successfully fulfill their duties, in line with their local regulations, while taking into account their specificities.
