Eurocopter provides several levels of technical support and resources to ensure the appropriate response to your technical queries and expectations:

2 - Do I have to provide the tooling required for the operation?
This depends on the scenario.

When you call on Field Service, all our technicians bring the tooling required for the operation as part of our service. Our technicians draw up a list of the tooling required for the operation and organize the shipment of the tools. They will also handle special shipping requirements for certain heavy or large-sized tooling. In such cases, you will receive an add-on quote.

If carrying out Organizational and Intermediate level maintenance operations yourselves, you must procure the equipment required, either by purchasing or by renting through our Maintenance Tool Rental service which provides the latest tooling models you need, including service, to avoid unnecessary additional investments.

Our Product Managers are organized and trained by helicopter type. They are in constant contact with the technical experts, and thus kept informed on the latest technical information and updates.

Our Technical Experts are experienced technicians officially delegated by the Design Office. They also have experience in the field.

Our Technical Representatives working on site are Part 145 qualified. The technicians working on helicopters of more than 5.7 metric tons are also JAR 66 qualified. When not on assignment, periodic refresher courses allow our technicians to constantly improve their work and update their know-how. On average, all our technicians have between 15 and 20 years technical experience, and they are usually specialized in a given family of helicopters.
