The The Green Rotorcraft Integrated Technology Demonstrator (ITD) is looking for expertise in Air Traffic Management (ATM) and heliport design.
In framework of Green Rotorcraft ITD, the Environment-Friendly Flight Path project (GRC-5) is committed to developing and testing new rotorcraft-specific flight procedures aiming to reduce significantly the noise footprint and gas emissions. In detail new IFR procedures will be considered and a special attention will be given to Simultaneous Non Interfering (SNI) routes allowing IFR rotorcraft to join busy airports independently of the airplane traffic operating from / to active runways.
To support the development of these new IFR procedures, the GRC-5 consortium is looking for a Partner with expertise in ICAO Air Traffic Management (ATM) and heliport design regulations. The Partner’s contribution will ensure that all the environment-friendly flight paths developed for IFR operations in GRC-5 comply with applicable ICAO criteria related to IFR procedures and the design of heliports.
In particular the ATM / Heliport expert(s) will be involved in some tasks and subtasks of the following work packages of GRC-5:
The expected contribution is planned to start as early as possible in the first half of 2009 and to stop after the completion of the final demonstrations in 2015.
