Eurocopter, a major partner in the Clean Sky Program

Eurocopter, one of the founding members of the Clean Sky initiative, welcomes the launch yesterday in Brussels of the Clean Sky Program. The objective of this major pan- European research program is to make air travel more sustainable by encouraging aeronautics manufacturers to develop and produce greener products.

Eurocopter, the leading civil and parapublic helicopter manufacturer, is fully committed to investing in technologies that increasingly care for the environment.

Beyond offering helicopters which provide the utmost safety and efficiency to its customers, Eurocopter is fully involved in developing solutions that reduce fuel consumption and external noise and include a greener life cycle for its products.

Through this European partnership, in which most of the aeronautics players are involved, Eurocopter is confident to increase its ability to take up the challenges linked to a greener environment.
